Update on HP Plan

The Highams Park Plan has passed its examination by an independent examiner (subject to some amendments). The examiner has recommended that the plan can now be prepared for a public vote and subsequent adoption  as an integral part of the Council’s planning policy (provided people vote to accept the plan). Our aim is to hold the public vote in the autumn of this year. We are currently in discussions with the Council to determine what processes they need to go through to arrange the vote. All people of voting age who live in the Highams Park Plan Area will be entitled to vote. We will provide you with more details when we hear back from the Council.
